One of the greatest traditions to come about in the last century is the advent of the ugly holiday sweater.
Its progression from innocent fun to obnoxiousness incarnate makes the holiday sweater a fascinating study of the human psyche.
Or our total disregard for what’s fashionable.
Or both.
Whether you’re a Rudolph-and-Frosty purist or a challenger of social conventions, our new ugly holiday sweater web app is for you.
How it works:
- You see that big, orange button below? Click it and you’ll be taken to a closet that even Carrie Bradshaw couldn’t have imagined. (Well, she wouldn’t want to, but that’s totally her loss.)
- In this closet, you’ll be able to make the ugly holiday sweater of your dreams! And believe us when we say: the uglier, the better.
- Unicorns? Check.
- Little green men? Check.
- Fire-breathing dragons? Check and check!
- At the bottom of the page, you’ll see drawers full of bizarre and wonderful accessories you can use to design the ultimate ugly holiday sweater.
- Click on each drawer and select as many accessories as your little, ugly-sweater-covered heart desires. These items will be added to your canvas.
- Once you have all your accessories, you can drag and drop them exactly where you want them to be on your sweater.
- And if you want to start over? You can! Simply click the “reset” button and your sweater will be back to basics.
